Full Circle Moments

Have you ever felt like you could not make sense of a situation, why an event happened the way it did, why someone behaved the way they did, or why something did not turn out in your favor? Next thing you know you look up and it all begins to make sense. This is what we call a full-circle moment. It is the moment in your story where you’re brought back to the beginning point of the circumstance and you now understand why it all happened the way that it happened.

Let’s reflect on Jeremiah 1 (NLT): Jeremiah’s Call and First Visions

4 The Lord gave me this message 5 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.    Before you were born I set you apart    and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” 6 “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” 7 The Lord replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you.  8 And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken!”  9 Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put my words in your mouth! 10 Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down,    destroy and overthrow.Others you must build up and plant.”

Are you afraid like Jeremiah, do you feel like you’re not ready for the assignment that God has called you to do? Are you worried about people in your life who have set out against your success, your happiness, your fruitfulness? But what if I reminded you that the Lord’s plans are indestructible and that he called you for a reason. You are exactly where you’re supposed to be even if you don’t feel like you should be there. Your full circle moment is coming.

Prayer Heavenly Father, I do not want to be where I am at this moment. I am emotional about this space. I know Father that you have called me and that I must carry out the purpose for the Kingdom. Provide wisdom and comfort to me that my heart may be aligned with your purpose. Help me not to fear, be anxious, or be frustrated about my timeline to move. Help me to accept that in this timeframe this is where you've called me to be and to do it with grace. May my mindset change and my heart focus in fully on you so that I am able to see the beauty in this space right now. There is a great work happening that I don't fully understand but Father I know it's coming full circle. ~ Amen
